The Secret of Secrets - Dan Brown

I first read The DaVinci Code by Dan Brown when I was working at a Barnes & Noble and could "check-out" most hard cover books. So I took advantage of that, especially as I had heard so much about this book, and discovered an author that tells a really good story. So, when I was in GA recently and saw a new Dan Brown on the shelf, I had to get it.

The Secret of Secrets is another Robert Langdon novel. This one takes place in the Czech Republic, and is all about consciousness. That is all I will say because you know there is always a good mystery in his books. The storytelling is fantastic and kept me wanting to read through the book. The dangers his characters go through, the topics of discussion are rooted in enough truth that they feel truly real. Like all of his books, Dan Brown takes something that he has researched, and that is true, and creates a different perspective on that subject. At least that is the best way that I can find to describe what he does. If you have read him, you know what to expect. If you haven't, but have seen any of the films based on his books - you have an idea of what to expect. If you haven't seen or read any of his work, I think you would find it really enjoyable and thought provoking.
