Robin Knight books

There are so many writers out there. Until you get introduced to them by friends, or randomly picking up a novel - you can miss a lot. Sometimes it is good to miss somethings, and other times you find an author that is quirky and fun to read...though maybe with a brown-paper book jacket on it. In this case it is the books of Robin Knight (who has also written under other names, which can be confusing and difficult to find all his work). That being written, I was introduced to his work by a friend of mine who loaned me some books that were part of a series named Fathom's Five. This of James Bond, mixed with Indiana Jones, and Charlies Angels - a group of guys who works together to solve mysteries, do archeological digs, and save the world from the bad guy. And these guys are all gay and super hot, and into each other and others so the writing can be a bit adult. Here are some of the titles - The Cross of Sins, The Dame of Notre Dame, The Pyramid of Puzzles, The Eye of Doom, The Tomb of Heaven...etc. Super fun reads.

Then he has a series staring a 1940's style detective named Buck Baxter. Again, think Marlowe, or any of the standard 1940's private dicks...but this one is also gay. Again, super fun read - exciting story, and just pure enjoyment.

Finally the last few books of his that I read were subtitled "Confessions of a straight guy" and each book was about 14-20 pages. Again, a fun quick read. Nothing substantial but still fun.
