kuhlman #19

Today was closing day for 'The Fantasticks' up at Masquer's Theatre in Forest Lake. When I got home last night I very quickly made a i-tunes play list of musical theatre songs that I wanted to share on closing day. I was in bed around midnight, and slept till 9 or so. I burned one copy of the play list then ran to Brueggers/Caribou for my usual B-fast (and to take a listen to the CD, just to make sure it all worked, and that it flows - important things).

I found out before I jumped in the shower that my friend Mark was going to be at the show. I got up there and was feeling alright - but I had only had a bagel sandwich and a mocha. I sipped some waters popped a vitamin c drop before hitting stage. Before I walked out I noticed that John Starkey and Megan were both there. 1/2 through Act one - I was getting tingly in my feet, feeling a bit light-headed, warm, thought for sure I was going to be sick. I wasn't - I made it through - got my scarf back on, drank some water and tried to relax. Same thing happened in Act two - but I popped another Vitamin C drop and kept going. I have no idea what that was - but it was NOT fun! It was still a good show, and the shirt below shows you how I felt about the day.

yeah - I'm at home and I still have my scarf on. I have realized that if my neck is cold - I'm cold. And I have a longer neck (or so it seems).
yep - this is the shirt! I love it. I usually pair it with my kilt, but I knew today was not a day for a kilt. Still - got some good comments from my cast (as usual) so - all is good.
one of the highlights of this shirt? French cuffs!!

ps: I'm going to try something tomorrow and post the songs for the CD I burned, the reasons I chose those songs - and see if I can inbed the mp3s so they are down loadable. we'll see how that flys!

My heavens, you are the *master* of hot-ass shirts. The one in this picture truly takes the cake. In fact, it actually looks kindof like a cake. If I ever change my sex, I'll hire you as a stylist for sure.

Now about the show - You were utterly fantastic, dahling! We enjoyed the whole thing, really, really. And despite your queezies, you totally held it down. We about keeled over in hysterics when you killed the other guy's garden. Good onya.

    Love M
